How To Easily Generate Content & The Traffic You Deserve!

Why do you go online?  The overwhelming majority of people go on the Internet for information.  It could be information about a health concern or a money problem, listening to music, or watching videos.  Whatever reason people go online, they are looking for fresh, credible content and/or media.  If, you’re the one to supply it to them, then you will get eyeballs to your site.  It’s as simple as that.  It sounds easy enough, but for those of us who are natural born writers and there are those of us who struggle with writing content for our website or blog, which type of writer are you?

Writing content is easy, if you have an interest in what you’re writing about.  The more interest you have for what you’re writing about, the more effortless it will be to put down in your text editor, what you know about your topic.   So, you’re probably wondering how do you go about in picking a topic or subject to write about?  Here’s one way to brainstorm in order to come up with a topic or subject to write about.

Take what your website or blog theme is about, because we know that your website or blog’s theme is about a topic or subject that you know and are interested in, right?  You wouldn’t put a website or blog on the Internet and not be interested in the topic or subject of your site would you?

Take what you’re interested in and write down on paper or put in your text editor like Microsoft Word or your favorite text editor, five things that you like to do, even if you weren’t being compensated for it on the left-side of the paper or your text editor and five concerns, challenges or problems that each of those five things you like to do, on the right-side of the paper or our text editor.

Here’s is an example of the five things that I would like to do, even if I weren’t getting paid for it, along with the five concerns, challenges or problems that each one of the five things I’d like to do has (in my opinion).

What I Like To Do:                          Concerns, Challenges or Problems

Live Abroad                                      Culture Shock & Learning To Adapt

Learn A New Language                    Finding A Course, Tutor and/or Mentor.

Support Living Abroad                  Making money to support my stay abroad.

Improve My Health                        Find A Great Personal Trainer & Nutritionist.

Make Money                                  Make Money Online To Support Living Abroad.

As you can see, the five things that I am interested in or love to do, are closely related to making my way in a foreign country while getting adjusted to a different place, a different language, while at the same time trying to find a way to regain my health and support myself while I’m abroad.

The five things that you are interested in or love, don’t have to be closely-related like the example that I have given, but they do have to be five things that you love to do and they do have to be in your opinion, a concern, challenge or problem that people face with each of the things that you are interested in.  Does that make sense?  I hope it does and I hope that the examples I’ve shared, gives you an idea about how to put together the five things that you’d like to do.

Here is how I would put together content for what I’m interested or would like to do.  I would take what I’m interested in, such as “living abroad,” and take its concerns, challenges and/or problems and write about that.  The article or post outline before I start writing may look something like this:

You Inspiration For Life.

Support Yourself Overseas.

Using the examples mentioned above, I have put together the outline for the article or post about “living abroad,” addressing some of the concerns, challenges and problems; I believe are common to everyone who wishes to live abroad.  Since living abroad is something that I have experienced first-hand, it would be very easy for me to write about this topic or subject.

You want to write about the things that you have experienced or learned from, because it makes it easier to produce content for your site.  You don’t have to limit yourself to five things that you like either, it could be 10 or 20 things that you like.  Just make sure that you like whatever number you come to, enough to be able to acknowledge the concerns, challenges or problems that each of those things that you are interested in, possesses.  You will find that if you can address the concerns, challenges or problems of the things that you are interested in or passionate about, you will also be helping to solve other peoples problems, when you write and share what you know about those things.

Note that many of the Subtitles for article or post that I’m writing on “Living Abroad,” could be the actual title for the article or post.  You want to have a decent enough title that gets people online to come and read your article, so here is a easy way to do that.

The quickest way to come up with a name for your title is to use your keyword or word phrase in your article or post title, such as in the example I’m using, “Living Abroad.”

By using the keyword or word phrase in the title for the article or post, people know right away, what the topic or subject is about, but that may not be enough to get them to click on the title and come read the article.

To increase the chances of someone clicking on your article or post title and actually coming to your site to read it, you want to use words like, “secrets,” “strategies,” “techniques,” “advice,” or “Tips,” with your keyword or word phrase.  For example, “Living Abroad” becomes “Living Abroad Secrets.”  Now that will garnish the attention of some people and many people will simply ignore the title and continue doing what they’re doing online.

Should I be upset that the title I’ve chosen, “Living Abroad Secrets,” doesn’t appeal to everyone online?  Absolutely not, here’s why?  Do you want 400 people clicking on your title and arriving at your website or blog and then clicking the back button soon after?  Maybe, maybe not!  What you really want to happen is out of those 400 people looking at your article or post title, 40 of them click on your title and getting to your website or blog and spending some time on your site reading and learning something new and unique that they hadn’t thought about before and bookmarking your site to come back to later.  If, they read enough on your site and recommend your site to their friends who are also interested in the topic or subject that you wrote about, then consider that a bonus of a well-written article.

Once you have the five things that you are interested in or would like to do, then we go over to your favorite search engine and put the keyword or word phrase into the search box.  What you want to establish by doing this is, to see if there is advertising support for your keyword or word phrase.  Here’s an example borrowing from the example above.

I go to my favorite search engine Google.  Why Google?  I use Google because they are very good at finding more relevant search results than many of the other search engines out there and because they’re big fans of sharing what they know with others for free.  I put in the Google search box, the keyword or word phrase, “living abroad.”  Google search returns lots of pages for “living abroad,” and that tells me that there are a lot people writing about “living abroad,” and that there is a strong interest for the keyword or word phrase, “living abroad.”

By looking at the right-side of the Google search return page, you will see “Sponsored Listings,” for the searched keyword or word phrase, “living abroad.”  If, there are “Sponsored Listings,” there is advertising support for the keyword or word phrase, “living abroad.”  If, there are a maximum of eight “Sponsored Listings,” on the right-side of the Google search return page, there is excellent advertising support for the term, “living abroad.”

Having advertising support for your keyword or word phrase tells you that you will have no problem finding a way to monetize your article or post that you are going to write about.  You won’t have any problem whatsoever, finding an affiliate network that will have the products and/or services to offer your readers.  Your products and/or services will be related to your article that you are writing or have written and the likelihood of your readers purchasing from you, increases because you are helping them to solve a concern, challenge or problem.

Over time, this will invariably lead to people who have an interest in what you’ve written, coming to your website or blog and reading what you’ve written and if they like what you’ve written, maybe even recommend others that they know to visit your site.  This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship between your site visitors and the information that you are providing.

Monetizing your information shouldn’t be your primary goal, but after establishing a relationship with your audience, more than a few of them, may become members in whatever online business you’re associated with or buyers of your products and services if you educate them first as to the benefits of your offerings.
