I was mulling between chemotherapy treatments for Thyroid & Adrenal Cancer the other day and unlike most of my days as of late, actually felt well enough to ponder the question, how much are you willing to do or not do to keep the content on your site updated?

A daunting task for most of us and certainly for anyone going through cancer treatment for sure, so I would like to ask the question, how do you go about keeping the content on your site updated. It doesn’t matter what affiliate program you’re in and whether or not it is a free affiliate program, the best affiliate program, you need content and the fresher the better.

Most affiliate marketing programs offer some sort of training online and the top affiliate programs may even offer you a website that you can customize or replicate. It really doesn’t matter if you’re an Google affiliate, such as an Adsense publisher, Amazon affiliate, a health affiliate, poker affiliate or your just an affiliate review website, the need for content is constant and for most of us an overwhelming concern.

I came across a WordPress Plugin called “Reposter,” that essentially takes your old content and republishes it to your site with the current date in intervals of six hours to 10 days, your preference of course.

I have seen in the past some sites that have no dates or times associated with the content on their site and wondered about the significance as to pagerank and duplicate content issues, so I wonder if the “Reposter” Plugin will do more harm to your site than it’s worth.

Here is the website address so you can read more about The “Reposter” Plugin and make a more informed decision if it is right for you. Go here for “Reposter.”

I’d like to hear others opinion of the free WordPress plugin “Reposter,” and whether or not it is a positive development for someone trying to keep their content on their site updated or just another means to exploit the honest efforts of those who actually post fresh content?

How do you decide on an affiliate program? For some, deciding on an affiliate program is as effortless as breathing, but for many of us, deciding on an affiliate program requires some careful thought. If, you could imagine yourself doing anything you want, what would that be? Imagine yourself doing you, but you aren’t getting paid for it! Does that give your thoughts some clarity, doing what you really love, but not getting paid for it?

Okay, let’s reverse the notion of compensation and change the question around. Imagine doing anything you want with your time, because you have the means to support your lifestyle and you are doing you! What is it that you do, that makes you love what you do, now that money is no object? That’s essentially the big question put two ways that many of us have a tough time answering.

Let’s make it easy. Pick three things that you would do, even if you were not getting paid for it, but you would be doing it anyway. You love this thing that you do so much, you would do it for free if you could. You aren’t motivated by money or getting recognition for what you do, because you are just doing you!

What would those three things be? For me, it would be spending more time with my family and living in another country for a few months out of the year, so that my children would experience some of my childhood coming up overseas. America looks a bit different when you’ve lived abroad for many years, and finally come back to the States.

Of the three things that you’ve picked, pick one or two out of the three that you have the most passion for and find a way to monetarize it. That’s it. It certainly isn’t rocket science, but sometimes it is a bit tough settling on one or two things that we enjoy doing so much, that we would do it, even if we weren’t getting paid to do it. Now, that’s passion! Settle on that which you have passion for and then find a way to monetarize it. Who knows, if you match your passion with the right affiliate program, who knows what’s in store. One thing for sure though, you match your passion with an affiliate program that serves your passion and one thing for sure, it won’t seem like work. Find your passion, then monetarize it by joining an affiliate program that addresses your passion and you’ll be doing you! Until next time, breath.
